Caregiving and support for my mother
Woman (41)
Caregiver for mother (72)
Within our family, I’m the one who organizes my mother’s care. I go with her to appointments and make sure everyone knows what’s going on. It’s sometimes difficult to keep updating my brothers and sisters in detail. I needed an easy way to keep them informed.
That’s why I started recording conversations with doctors. This way, I could share the information accurately and clearly, without worrying about telling something wrong or forgetting anything. But it did take me a lot of time to listen back to those conversations and make notes. Sometimes I even overlooked a to-do item.
With Ditto, I now get a summary of those conversations that I send to everyone. This way, my brothers and sisters immediately know what was discussed. I also get a clear overview of the tasks I still need to take care of.
