With Ditto, you can add Loved Ones to your care circle to simply and safely share your health updates. Whether you're sending or receiving, you'll always know what's going on and how you can help.
If you've been invited to Ditto by someone, you need to download the Ditto app first. After installing, click on your invitation link once more to connect with your loved one.
Why
Healthcare is too important not to share
Healthcare is deeply personal, but it’s never a journey you take alone. When facing a health challenge, support of your loved ones can make all the difference.
But that's not how medical systems are designed. Most medical portals are filled with complex information, and sharing is hardly possible. This makes it difficult to involve those that matter most.
Ditto users showed the way
About 30% of all Ditto summaries were already being shared through WhatsApp or Signal. But users told us these messages would get buried between grocery lists and family photos.
We built Ditto Loved Ones to show a new way of being connected in each other's care. It enables you to build a trusted care circle, keep your loved ones informed, and update them with a single tap.
How it works
Loop in loved ones with a single tap
For the sender

Invite your circle: Send a simple invitation link (via text, email, etc.). When a loved one clicks it, you receive a follow request in Ditto, which you must approve.

Capture your health: Use Ditto to record an appointment, scan a medical document, or write a personal update.

Share updates: Select the event summary and tap Share with your Care Circle. You can add personal messages.
For the receiver

Install Ditto: Download the app on your phone and set up your account.

Accept the invitation: Go back to the invitation link and click it once more on your mobile device to send your request.

Wait for approval: Your loved one will approve your request to follow them.

Get updates: When they share a new event, you'll receive a notification with a clear, easy-to-understand summary.

Sharing happens safely on your terms
At Ditto, we adhere to a privacy-by-design approach—we can never read or access what you do and store in the app. Care Circle extends this trust by ensuring you are always the only one in control of your data.

You are always in control: You decide what to share, when to share it, and who sees it. You can unshare events, remove followers, or change access anytime. Your circle, your rules.

End-to-end encryption: All shared data is protected by end-to-end encryption, based on the Signal protocol, meaning only you and your approved circle can read it.

Local storage: Your health data lives locally on your and your loved ones' devices, not in the cloud, so not even we, Ditto, can access it.

Shared with intent: Nothing happens automatically. Sharing is a conscious decision made by you, the sender, every time.
